CAREL - pGDx Touch Panel

The pGDx family is CAREL's response to the needs of an increasingly demanding market in terms of size and performance, for interfacing with the pCO and c.pCO sistema family controllers. To ensure maximum flexibility, several different versions are available, in terms of screen size (4.3”, 7”, 10” and 15”), connectivity (RJ12, one or two Ethernet ports, WiFi) and types of touchscreen (resistive/capacitive). Starting from the pGDx 4.3”, which can be used to evolve HVAC/R units designed for the pGD1 without modifying any of the electrical connections, the proposal has been expanded to include the brand-new pGDx 7”; this takes the concept of unit terminal to a whole new level, extending connectivity via the WiFi connection (both in Access Point and Station mode). The range is completed by 10” and 15” capacitive displays that guarantee the highest levels of performance. Furthermore, when combined with specific accessories, the various different models can be installed in multiple applications and a wide range of environments; either as an indoor or outdoor unit terminal, or as a room terminal.

Built-in temperature and humidity probe

Can share the values read with both the display and the connected controller. This new feature means concrete advantages for the room terminal solution: just one single device can be used, rather than two, to manage the function of both instruments. [valid for 4.3" and 7"]

Micro-USB port

At the front, concealed by a faceplate, for easier access. [valid for 4.3" and 7", full USB for 10" and 15"].

Wifi

For wireless communication between the unit displays (4.3” and 7”) and the controller networks and any external devices. The displays can be used as a Wireless Access Point (WAP) or as a Wireless Client Station. This makes data control easier. [valid for 4.3" and 7"]

Dual Ethernet port

Increases the connectivity and data usage functions. These can in fact be configured in two different ways: dualMAC and switch. [valid for 7", 10" and 15"].

The CONTROLLA app

Makes the data easier to read by using the display’s WiFi connection. Using their own mobile device, tablet and/or smartphone, users can view the desired information without needing to interact directly with the display, making it no longer necessary to be physically present. CAREL - pGD1 Semi Graphic Display

The pGD1/pGD Evolution semigraphic terminals are part of the range of pCO sistema user interfaces designed to offer higher versatility and extensive customisation possibilities. When designing these terminals, CAREL focused special attention on simplicity of programming and the quality of performance, while maintaining a high aesthetic standard. The terminals have a 132x64 pixel backlit display, green or white, and a 6 button keypad. pGD1 features a keypad that repeats the symbols used on the pCO2/3 built-in display, while pGDE uses the symbols from the built-in keypad on the pCO5/5+/c.pCO controllers. These terminals can display graphic symbols of various sizes and the main international alphabets, and respond to the logic of flexibility and ease of customisation that is the basis for the design of the CAREL pCO sistema family products, offering more demanding customers several customisation possibilities at affordable costs even for limited quantities. Connection to the pCO controller is available over the RS485 network using the pLAN protocol.

CAREL - pLDPRO LED Display

pLDPRO is a new compact LCD in the pCO family, completely compatible with all the software and hardware applications developed for the pGD1, featuring 132x64 pixel resolution. pLDPRO has been designed to meet the needs of applications that require an LCD that is compact in size, yet can at the same time provide users a complete set of information, with a clear and customisable layout typical of applications developed using programmable LCDs, but not possible on 7-segment LED displays. The pLDPRO LCD can display icons (defined when developing the application program) and manage international fonts in two sizes, provides six buttons to navigate through the screens, and an audible signal using a buzzer. Connection to the pCO controller is available over the RS485 network using the pLAN protocol.

CAREL - pLD LED Display

pLD is a pCO family LED terminal, available in sizes small and large sizes, with a 3 or 4 digit display and a 3 or 8 button keypad respectively. Programmability is available using the 1tool suite, and the terminal is suitable for applications where the cost, limited amount of information and compact dimensions are important features of the application. Connection to the pCO controller is available over a network using the tLAN protocol.

CAREL - pAD Room Terminal Units

pAD is the CAREL pCO sistema family room terminal that allows users to interact with the air-conditioning unit controller using dedicated buttons. Connection to the pCO controller is available over the RS485 network using the pLAN protocol.

CAREL - th-Tune Room Terminal Units

th-Tune is the CAREL pCO sistema family room terminal that allows users to control temperature and humidity in residential environments. Depending on the model, the terminal can be fitted with a temperature probe or temperature and humidity probe, while the power supply may be 230 Vac or 24 Vac/Vdc. th-Tune is compatible with the main flush-mounted switch boxes available on the market (IT, US, DE, CN). Temperature and humidity setting is simple and intuitive using the knob on the front with rotary encoder. th-Tune also lets users adjust some settings for the room controller, such as operating mode and time bands. Control and information displayed depend exclusively on the controller that th-Tune is connected to. The compact dimensions and elegant design make the terminal easy adaptable to all types of rooms. Connection to the pCO controller is available over the RS485 network using the Modbus protocol.
